      Thanks Teagan, I would love to invite you anf the characters from The Woman in Trousers episodes. Wouldn’t that be a fun party, Cornelis, Felicity, Copper and even Cal Hicks!!!

        Haha! I’m sure Cal Hicks, the amethyst ape, would be well mannered at a dinner party. But Cornelis and Copper egging one another on might be a different matter. 😀

    Wonderful! Boeuf Bourguignon is stunning…I finally tried making it and it came out amazing even on a first attempt. (Thanks to Julia). Great wine pairings too.

      Gerlinde, it’s a fantastic recipe. I made a few changes to Julia Childs great recipe sticking pretty close to the original. It’s really so delicious. Thank you.

      You can never go wrong with Julia Child, hers is labor intensive. I been thinking of making it for Christmas but I’m not sure .

        I cut or trimmed some of Julia’s steps you will see when the recipe is published. It is easier and although it’s a longish slow cook it’s not that labor intensive. It would make a gorgeous elegant holiday meal.

    This menu makes me so so ready for some cold weather cooking!! It’s still in the 90’s here– and I’m ready for a rich stew and a table full of friends. This looks perfect Suzanne! What a fun idea to work together on the menu– love it!

        I tried following the famed Julia Child Boeuf Bourguignon recipe once. So much work!! So I have a simpler stand by form southern France that includes olives–my favorite. Anyway thanks again Suzanne. Happy Autumn!
