Pan Fried Quail with Vincotto Glazed Grapes | Winter Menu | Main Course

This dish is so elegant and sounds so delicious, amazing Sandra aka Lady Red Specs of Please Pass The Recipe really outdid herself. I will confess I have never had quail but seeing this makes me want to go find and make this I hope you all enjoy……

I’m not a huge fan of quail — can take or leave it. But heck — what doesn’t benefit from being fried! I’d try it. 😀 It certainly plated beautifully. Mega hugs.

I think you will like quail if you like the dark meat of chicken or turkey. Have a marvelous Monday. 🙂

Quail is one of my favorites! I always forget about it though and it is really easy to prepare (but easy to over-cook).

Easy to over cook because it’s so small right? I have to try it, it seems so delicate and elegant.

I always get caught up with difficult time consuming foods and never enjoy my own dinner parties. I have to learn the art of the dinner party, what to make ahead and food that is easy to prepare. Thanks Michelle.

It was my first time preparing, cooking and eating quail just recently, with this dish Suzanne and it is really beautiful. I love the fact that it’s wrapped in the prosciutto and then pan fried and the sauce really is to die for!
I also found a great little video online for a good technique of de-boning the quail – was easier than I thought it would be. Hope you give it a try sometime! 🙂
