Exciting Offer From Farmigo And A Sandwich
The good people at Farmigo saw my post and generously offered to you, my readers $25 off your order use coupon code “Puglife”. I love the concept, the food which is uber fresh, organic and delicious and the fact that it’s all local means a lot to me and I am very picky when it comes to food. Right now they are in 2 parts of the country, so if you happen to be in the New York area (this includes parts of New Jersey) or the San Francisco Bay area you’re in luck. Check here to see if there is a pick up location near you. My pick up location is directly across the street, how convenient!!
I am excited for any of you that live in the two area’s to give Farmigo a try and $25 off is a great incentive. Food shopping makes me happy, finding great deals and new avenues to find fresh healthful food makes me really really happy, like you all I love to cook and am always searching out the best sources for the freshest food I can find. I am not being paid or compensated nor was I asked by Farmigo to do this post this is all my idea. This is a CSA like no other, you get to pick what goes into your box, an a la carte CSA if you would, and they really do make it easy with lots of pick up locations. Give it a try, use coupon code “pug life” and get your discount and you will be giving yourself the gift of fresh farm to table food.
Now for the sandwich. I have been meaning to share this sandwich with you for a while now but got caught up with stuff and forgot about it until the nice people at Food52 decided to feature it. I was taken by surprise and very flattered that my sandwich was featured on the site.
It has a rather long name Parmesan Crusted Chicken, Caponata and Pesto Sandwich if you click on the link you can see the recipe on Food52. I fried thin chicken cutlets in a panko/parmigiano coating, had some good bread, a baguette, some homemade pesto and some homemade caponata. You simply slather the bread with pesto and grill it, pile on caponata and then chicken, close it up and eat. Really pretty simple and really delicious. I thought using both pesto and caponata as condiments would be pretty tasty.
Lovely ! Congratulations 😊
Suzanne, i’m so glad you’re getting some recognition. Your food is wonderful, and each blog post is well written and presented in a clear and lovely way. …And i sure wish i were having that sandwich for lunch! 😀 Hugs.
Thanks Teagan, really appreciate how kind you are. The sandwich is terrific. a real meal all in one.
This is excellent offer Suzanne!
It is right, I thought that was so generous. They are a great company.
Suzanne, did you check out my latest post? :). Do let me know what you think?
CONGRATS on your sandwich being selected by Food52!!! Though I am not surprised – that is one mouthwatering sandwich!
Wishing I lived in San Fran or NYC – this is a very generous offer!
Thanks Shashi, I am hoping Farmigo extends their service area to where you live too!!
Wish I lived in the area…how wonderful that the company saw your post and extended the offer! Very cool. 🙂
As for the sandwich…looks fantastic and such yummy ingredients…it must taste delish!
Hi Suzanne, How are you? Doing well I hope? I am surprised the Company isn’t in my State of Florida especially with the abundance of Snowbirds from the Northeast Corridor of US? Perhaps, they’ll extend south. Blue Apron is another fine company available, if someone is looking for a fresh entire meal of ingredients (just follow instructions and cook away-great for a single person or working couple with limited time frame) they could check out this company; where Farmigo is not available? I am not getting paid to promote them either, it is my personal knowledge I am sharing. Hats off to Farmigo and their generous offer you-NYC & NJ people get on it! Nice job as usual. Cheryl
Congratulations! And congratulations again!! You deserve it, with all that lovely food on your website 🙂
Thank you Ginger.
Congratulations on both accounts… For another recognition by Food52… this sandwich will surely feed a poor boy! 😀 ))) And, Farmigo appreciating your blog and extending generosity toward your readers in NY area. Two thumbs up!
Thanks so much Fae!
Fabulous, Suzanne!!! And what a GORGEOUS sandwich. xo
Delicious! I would love to give this a try 😀
Yes do, it’s a great value for really good food.
Shame I’m so far away!!
It’s such a cool idea they need to be everywhere.
Congratulations! Too bad I’m so far away – I doubt they deliver to France!
I don’t think so LOL, send Hugo to pick up a box for you.
This is a pretty cool offer. Thanks for posting about it. And we won’t even go into that sandwich because I can’t even describe how amazing it looks.
Thank you it is a wonderful offer and the food is top notch. Thanks so much.
Delicious combo. Love caponata and home-made pesto, but wouldn’t have thought to use both. And with the crusted chicken…bet that tasted great. And I happen to like your photo! Okay, you don’t see the filling so well. But with a couple of differing photos you would be able to.
The pesto grilled on the bread is so good, it is garlicky and herby and then when you add the caponata and crunchy cheesy chicken it’s a great sandwich, Thanks Johnny.
Fantastic looking sandwich Suzanne – I’m not surprised at all that it was selected by Food52! Great work! 🙂
Thanks so much Margot.
Heading over for the recipe now! Love the combination of pesto on bread with crispy chicken cutlets!
Thanks Jasline, it’s such a nice combination.
