A Labor Day Giveaway
I am so excited about this giveaway, and pleased to share with TWO lucky people a gorgeous 10 inch walnut cutting board and an ice cream scoop, both hand crafted by Michael of Michaels Woodcraft. I have become a big fan of his work, the quality is amazing, you will be blown away by just how beautiful these pieces are. All you have to do to enter the contest is simply leave a comment. I do ask if you don’t mind pin on Pinterest and tweet on Twitter it’s not mandatory though. This contest is open only to those who live in the USA, so sorry my wonderful friends outside of the US, I checked and it would be cost prohibitive for me to ship outside of the US. So very sorry!! I will conduct two separate drawings one for the cutting board and one for the scoop. Both pieces are hand crafted by Michael in South Carolina, products of the good old USA and are heirloom quality, they will last a lifetime if properly cared for. Michael provides a tin of his homemade wood conditioner for the cutting board. You will get years of enjoyment from these beautiful products. The drawing will be on Friday, Sept. 5th. Good luck everyone!!

I wish that were not the case or I were independently wealthy and didn’t have to worry about such things. Thank you so much for the kind words. You rock too my dear!!
No worries Suzanne. …I understand but loved your concept of promoting Michael products without expecting any returns thatz really sweet of you. …….All the very best keep rocking……☺👍

Gorgeous giveaway Suzanne. I am not eligible, but good luck to those who are 🙂
:o( Thank you so much.
Too bad I live outside of the USA because that is one beautiful cutting board!
I know the board is beautiful and really too bad it costs an arm and a leg to ship outside the US, even Canada is high and it’s close. Thanks so much.
Chances are the cost of posting one of those boards to the UK would cost more than the board itself. It’s shockingly expensive to use the mail these days! Anyway, how can you part with them?! Okay, I know you have one of them already. Have fun with the very generous giveaway!
Hi Johnny, yes, it costs way more than the board itself to send. I was shocked and really sad when I found out. Horrifying really. Thank you and I wish I could send one to you in the UK.
These are absolutely beautiful! What a glorious give away. I’m jealous of your US readers haha. Sending to Australia would cost you an arm and a leg though!
Thanks yes I checked what the postage would be to Australia and thought it would be almost the same to fly to Australia and pass it to you at the airport. Unbelievably high postage.
Haha!! That would be commitment to the giveaway! You’re always welcome to come and visit though 😛
I absolutely understand, Suzanne ! There is something very strange about postal charges from the US to Oz, for instance – and perhaps from the US to anywhere, for all I know. I can buy articles from Amazon.co.uk for about half the price of those from Amazon.com, for that very reason. No idea why the US scorns purchasers from other parts of the world …
I’ve purchased from Amazon UK and shipping was not extraordinarily high, as a matter of fact I barely noticed a difference in the shipping charges. When I checked the US postal service I could not believe the prices I saw. To ship the cutting board to Australia was over $86 and thats not express. I feel like I am being penalized if I want to ship outside the US.
Exactly what I’m talking about. There’s some kind of tariff thing going on – but ordinary folk have no idea what it’s about. 😦
I wish I am the winner;-) selfish me. After seeing such a beautiful pieces for the second time ( remember your earlier share) I am super duper excited. Let me wait to know the lucky one
They are both such beautiful pieces. I wish you good luck! Thank you so much,
I know:-) thanku
No exception for Canada? I’m joking, I perfectly understand your point! Good luck to everyone… that cutting board is truly beautiful!
I could not believe it but it’s very expensive to Canada also and it’s closer to me than California. Don’t understand it. I wish it were possible.
it’s crazy, isn’t it?hanks a lot anyway!
Such beautiful craftsmanship Suzanne. So lucky the people who get to win this very generous giveaway! Enjoy your weekend. M.xx
Thanks Margot!

I do too thank you, you are entered to win but I need to know if you live in the USA!
So generous of you Suzanne…but that doesn’t surprise me one bit. ❤ And I love Michael's work. I've been looking at his birdhouses, thinking I'd like to start buying them for the woods at my cabin. Wouldn't they look adorable hanging on the trees in the woods? Love them. He's quite talented.
Thanks Prudy, yes I could totally see one of his gorgeous birdhouses hanging in the woods near your cabin. You are entered to win one of the items here now!!
Woo hoo! TMichael’s work is functional art indeed and I truly covet the board and the scoop. hank you for giving us a shot at a chance of winning one of these beautiful wood boards!!
Thanks Azita you are entered!!
I love the cutting board, he does beautiful work and I would love to have it.
Thanks Maia you are entered.
I can’t believe you are willing to part with your treasures. You are always so generous though so it shouldn’t be a surprise. He does do beautiful work – perhaps he could try his hand at wooden dog bowl stands?
Michael is amazing, he made these items for me especially for this giveaway. You know I need to have a stand made for my dogs. Nando can hardly stand anymore or bend to eat, the raised stand I have is not high enough. Great idea!! You are entered in the contest.
So sad. Hard to watch a pup in pain (and trouble standing to eat equals pain).
Nando has peripheral neuropathy it’s the result of 6 years struggling with diabetes. He has no feeling in his paws and legs,he also has weakness in his back legs. I give him B12, supplements, massage, next is accupuncture and maybe laser treatment. He is 14 yrs old but is a real fighter.
