Suzanne’s Yeasted Buckwheat Waffles with Buttery Peaches
I am so excited for you to visit Lori’s wonderful blog and see my guest post. I was so happy to do it. Check it out and check out Lori’s fantastic healthful recipes.
We are here friends! Here in our new home! 😀 More pics to come soon! And hopefully I can get my kitchen unpacked so I can start “creating beauty in THIS kitchen!” 😉 Until then, you get to continue enjoying the beauty some of your fellow foodie bloggers have been creating for me.
Suzanne from A Pug in the Kitchen was so kind to bring some of her creativity to all of you! In addition to having the cutest name for a blog and the cutest design, I love her tagline, “good food with simple ingredients.” I remember first talking back and forth with this lovely lady…she had started following my blog but wasn’t getting notifications for some reason. Her enthusiasm to make sure that got fixed warmed my heart and so encouraged me! Well, it did get fixed, and ever since then I see Suzanne over here often…means so much!…

Suzanne, that sounds both interesting and yummy! 🙂
Thanks, I have made buckwheat pancakes before but never waffles, I loved it with the peaches that happened to be amazing,
Great idea and beautiful post Suzanne!
Thank you Viviana!
I love Lori’s and your space Suzanne! Heading to Lori’s.
Thanks Sonali, love her space (and yours too)!
🙂
Thanks again Suzanne!! Such a pleasure to have you guest post! I’m still thinking about those buttery peaches!! 😊
I had a bunch of peaches, froze some. They were the best I have ever had outside of a real Georgia peach, YUM! Thanks for asking me to post, it was a lot of fun.
Go buckwheat! We’re on the same wavelength here . . . crepes, waffles. I must admit I like waffles better than crepes! More crevices for butter and syrup and fruit and such!!! They turned out very very neat and perfect looking and I’m sure they were delicious. I love the flavor of buckwheat when baked into things but I don’t really care for the grain cooked, do you? It has a weird musty smell and gummy texture, although I do like it toasted, like for kasha.
I saw your buckwheat crepes and thought the same thing, we definitely are on the same wave length. I have a love hate relationship with buckwheat, Iike you I like it baked into things, love pancakes and waffles and even muffins but not much else. It can have a very weird consistency and taste.
They look delicious 🙂 That’s my kind of breakfast Suzanne! Love to eat breakfast t lunch and supper too! 🙂
Thanks Michael, they really were good. I loved the buttery peaches with the buckwheat waffles. Really nice.
I would just love to have some of these delicious looking waffles for breakfast. 😉
Thank you so much, they were really good.

The peaches were amazing with the waffles. Thanks Susan.

I can never say no to waffles. Thanks Pamela!
Delicious recipe, Suzanne. This will be on my must-try list, as I am learning to use buckwheat flour in baking and cooking. I love waffles, too, so this is a bonus. 🙂
Thanks so much, I really loved the buckwheat flour in the waffles, this week I am going to mix buckwheat and spelt and see how that tastes,
Who can say no to waffles? Not me anyway!
Not me, thanks Katerina!
