We are here friends! Here in our new home! 😀 More pics to come soon! And hopefully I can get my kitchen unpacked so I can start “creating beauty in THIS kitchen!” 😉 Until then, you get to continue enjoying the beauty some of your fellow foodie bloggers have been creating for me.

Suzanne from A Pug in the Kitchen was so kind to bring some of her creativity to all of you! In addition to having the cutest name for a blog and the cutest design, I love her tagline, “good food with simple ingredients.” I remember first talking back and forth with this lovely lady…she had started following my blog but wasn’t getting notifications for some reason. Her enthusiasm to make sure that got fixed warmed my heart and so encouraged me! Well, it did get fixed, and ever since then I see Suzanne over here often…means so much!…

I had a bunch of peaches, froze some. They were the best I have ever had outside of a real Georgia peach, YUM! Thanks for asking me to post, it was a lot of fun.

Go buckwheat! We’re on the same wavelength here . . . crepes, waffles. I must admit I like waffles better than crepes! More crevices for butter and syrup and fruit and such!!! They turned out very very neat and perfect looking and I’m sure they were delicious. I love the flavor of buckwheat when baked into things but I don’t really care for the grain cooked, do you? It has a weird musty smell and gummy texture, although I do like it toasted, like for kasha.

I saw your buckwheat crepes and thought the same thing, we definitely are on the same wave length. I have a love hate relationship with buckwheat, Iike you I like it baked into things, love pancakes and waffles and even muffins but not much else. It can have a very weird consistency and taste.

Delicious recipe, Suzanne. This will be on my must-try list, as I am learning to use buckwheat flour in baking and cooking. I love waffles, too, so this is a bonus. 🙂
