Brown Rice Risotto

A wonderful serenity has taken possession of my entire soul, like these sweet mornings of spring which I enjoy with my whole heart. I am alone, and feel the charm of existence in this spot, which was created for the bliss of souls like mine. I am so happy, my dear friend, so absorbed in the exquisite sense of mere tranquil existence, that I neglect my talents. I should be incapable of drawing a single stroke at the present moment; and yet I feel that I never was a greater artist than now.

Honestly, you have to really hustle votes and I was so busy I didn’t do that. Plus they gave such a short window for voting, less than 24 hours it’s usually 2 days. It’s only natural to be disappointed. I would be too. Shoot, I’m mad that YOU didn’t win and it’s not even my recipe, lol! Simply for the fact that somebody else won because they probably got more votes by blabbing it all over Facebook or something. I dislike it when popularity sometimes overrules on talent. You should have won because yours was better, period. Ok, I’ll stop ranting now 🙂
